BREAK UPS!!

ARE LOVE STORIES ROOTED IN TRAGEDIES??
By the way i am not talking about love stories here but the possible sequale of events following a breakup.
Its a random thought because whenever my friends seek my advice on this particular issue i am usually tongue-tied.
Break-up has become a social issue these days, occuring too often, but obviously with different intensities. Sometimes its "Mutual" type, where both the parties are bored of each other and finally decides to end it amicably.
Another type is "Blaming" type, where it is usually accompanied by lot of anger, frustration, abuses and finally tears.( a real pain in a** types)
There is one more, breakup due to "Family" reasons, now here its usually the parents  who are the guilty party.

But what amuses me is how conveniently we switch gears in the course of events, the person we promised to love for ever, suddenly becomes too distant. The whole journey and the moments spent together becomes hazy in our memory and the only thing we seem to remember is the tragic ending.

And then comes the role of a friend (usually me) on advising how to Get Over it. Weird it may sound, but how are we supposed to know the perfect solution!!

There is no home remedy for this, you sulk, you cry, you shout but that is all obvious isnt it!
We blame others, label ourselves as the victims of love, but are we really the only ones? (as i said its more of a social issue and self pity makes it more miserable)

So my advice to all my heartbroken friends is to give it time, shed all the tears and last but not the least dont hold grudges.."forgive and forget".
(if u know more type of breakups do enlighten me)

My new Friends

Sometimes smallest of incidence makes such an impact that it helps you evolve as a better person.

One such incident happened with me lately which moved me to the core and made me realize how ungrateful and ignorant I still am.

AID helped me discover this new person in me who craves for affection of little kids.It made me realize the value of small things in life which I had often ignored. How fortunate I am to have such good parents who have cosseted me and protected me from hardships of life.

I'm astounded to see how excited these kids are about learning when they are deprived of basic necessities of life. Hope, confidence and optimism keeps them going and gives them strength.

Thus, these children are growing, both in body and in mind and I feel proud to be their new friend whom they have started liking(i guess :P).

Its so refreshing to be with them that after 2 hours instead of getting dull I am again full of energy. I went there as a teacher but instead I am learning, this is my new found happiness and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience. I hope to live up to their expectations.

I feel alive again.
